IPSec for Android^®

Please note that our IPSec service is still in beta stage. The service may be interrupted or modified at any time. You might have to re-configure your android device once the service leaves the beta stage.

Step 1: Go to the "Add VPN Configuration" screen

Select System settings.
Select Data usage.
Select More....
Select VPN.
Select Add VPN network.

Step 2: Enter the connection settings

Enter HomeVPN in the Name field.
Select "IPSec Xauth PSK" as Type.
Enter <listed in connection properties>.vpn4me.com in the Server address field. (connection properties)
Leave the field IPSec identifier empty.
Enter homevpn (case sensitive: only lower case letters) in the IPSec pre-shared key field.
Click Save.

Step 3: Start the connection

Start the VPN connection by clicking on the HomeVPN button.
When the password dialog appears, enter your username and password (same as on website).
Once you are successfully connected, the dialog box shown below will appear.>

Usage: Start and stop the connection

Once you have completed the VPN setup, you can connect and disconnect by clicking on the HomeVPN button. When connected, a VPN icon will be displayed in the status bar at the top of the screen.
